A fine, 8 hectare estate with vines in both Chassagne and Santenay. Impeccably run by John Capuano who augments the domaine’s own production by buying grapes on long term contracts from the owners of a further 12 hectares. The wines are vinified in the magnificent cellars in the centre of Santenay and, until recently, over two thirds of the production was sold in France. Ripe and generous , well-balanced and harmonious with just the right amount of new oak.
A selection of the best sites within Chassagne. 100% barrel-fermented with 20% new oak. Rich, ripe and aromatic. A lovely, generous wine with fresh, honeyed fruit, a succulent texture and a crisp, long aftertaste. Already highly enjoyable but has the poise and balance to age gracefully.
