Bruno Giacosa is one of the legendary wineries of Piemonte, Bruno himself doing much to establish the prestige of the region, through his detailed approach to viticulture and winemaking, which aimed to simply present top quality fruit in the purest fashion. Today his daughter Bruna runs the estate. Her exemplary Dolcetto is perhaps the region’s best, with juicy blackberry and maraschino cherry aromas underpinned with hints of rosemary and white pepper. A seamless, cool medium-weight palate which elevates the potential of this grape variety.
